Slinky Dog in the evenings...

Florida Resident Annual Passholder here! We've had consistent good luck getting in line a few minutes before closing and waiting half an hour or less to ride despite what the wait time says. The ride is beautiful after dark, and it's a great way to end your night.

We went on at night during our visit at the end of September and the posted wait time was around 50mins. We weren't entirely sure whether it was going to go down or not with Fantasmic and the fireworks, but the posted wait time just kept hovering around there the entire time we were in the section, which was around an hour before the park closed. We were able to pretty much walk right onto TSMM that night.

I don't think we waited for the entire 50 minutes, though. However, I do attribute the shorter wait time due to the fact that we were a party of 3 going on. Now I'm not sure if they do this every night, but the night we were there to get on the ride they separated those who had even numbers and those that had odd, I think they might have started using the FP lane? We were in line past the closing time of like 8:30pm.

Anyway, once we got closer to the front they asked us how many people were in our party and then directed us to the right. The line on the right was much shorter and we think we must've bypassed the majority of people who were waiting from that point on.

I don't typically quote myself but wanted to correct this. I figured because ToT wasnt showing dropped times in the AM that RnR wasn't as well but, at least today when I watched closer, RnR did in fact have additional FP's as well. I just hadn't watched close enough because I was more focused on SDD.

This definitely works! I just checked exactly at 2:31 and there were a definitely fastpasses for SDD, TSM, TOT, and RnR that appeared. They were all for use between 4:00-4:45.

When we were there, it was down. They had emptied the que.

A guy walked out to the crossroads and started yelling that it was open. We waited maybe 10 minutes.

In mid-October, we hopped in line at 7:57pm with an 8pm park closing. Posted wait time was 45 minutes. They were continuing to let late fast passes in the queue the entire time we were in line (I believe the ride had been down for a few hours earlier in the day). Even still, we were off in about 20 minutes.

This is normal; they started doing this with SDMT. It's much more effective for them, because when they pair parties with odd numbers together, they can ensure there are no empty seats since it's two to a row. Easier for the CMs who don't have to remember where an empty seat is, and fills each ride which makes the line go faster.

Basically an alternative to a single rider line.

I've been hesitant to say anything for 2 reasons. First, things change so quickly and second, I check in in 8 days and don't want to jinx it but I've noticed consistent FP drops twice per day for the past 2 weeks (that was just when I noticed them). At 9:31 FP's for starting from 11-12 drop for all TSL rides. This drop is gradual over a few minutes unlike the previous Pandora ones which seemed to be a lot of times at once and then done. At 2:31 it does the same but for FP's starting from 4-5. Some other random times might show up during these few minutes but I would guess those happen to be people switching existing FP's as they haven't been consistent. Here's a sample from yesterday PM (and I've checked many times before stating this because I hate to post false info...of course this can change anytime). These are not normal FP movement.

But I'm usually on a ride at 9:31 & usually napping at 2:31:rolleyes1

I want thank you for the tip, I was able to get a fast pass for the alien spinning saucer ride this morning at 9:33 AM for an 11:30 window. Nothing for slinky dog but I was happy to at least get one fast pass in the new toy story area
