We got an x-box 360 at the weekend :cool1: and of course the main reason it was bought (for me anyway) was for the Disneyland Adventures game. I'm not a one for computer games really but wow!

It is just amazing - love it :lovestruc The first time I got a cuddle from one of the characters I was choked up :rotfl:.

Anyone else here got it/played it? What do you think of it?

A friend of mine had it a while back and didn't rate it at all . Wonder if it's because she's never been to DLRP?

I just need several hours now to play it with my DD1 :thumbsup2. Thinking I'm going to have to ration our playtime or we'll do nothing else :lmao:.

Hope I'm OK to post this here....

We have it (but no kids!) - it's fun, though holding your arm out to move gets a bit annoying! So far we have enjoyed Its a Small World (and the dance moves) and the Alice game the most - its great how much detail there is the game.

I played at my sisters Im not very patient when it comes to games and this one annoyed me lol! The kinnect kept picking every one else up and interupting the game. The idea is good and may be if I played it alone I would think a lot more of it !

smallpig - I can see that in reality it's not a small child's game. Definitely needs a game plan intended more for adults. I've done a few challenges now - just found needle/thread/fabric for Cinderella :goodvibes. Also, just enjoyed a frenetic skiing trip with Goofy but was being bombarded by yetis which were a bit scary :scared1:.

Tinks - if you had the time and were alone (or two of you) I think you would like it. The scenery and detail is amazing.

I've turned it off for tonight now though as my shoulder is hurting from throwing snowballs at the yetis to save Goofy :lmao:

We have the Kinect and were thinking about buying this game, but we weren't sure how much real playability it would have!

Think I'm going to have to buy it now ahead of our trip in March, should help to get Olivia even more Disney-a-fied!

I think I would as well I played the POTC game lol that was hard I wanted to just walk round the park but kept walking in to all the rides lol! No wait as well even better and meeting characters with no pushing YAY x

I played the POTC one too, sooo hard!!

I got DH an XBOX & Kinnect for Christmas and so naturally got the package that came with this game!

I do think it's a shame it's so hard though, my little ones are 3.5 and almost 5 and they are desperate to be able to play on it but it's impossible! You'd think a game based around Disneyland would be made for all the family. They just have to sit and watch but end up trying to join in and confuse the kinnect.

Love that there's no scrums at characters! not very realistic though :rotfl:

Ha ha Happy panda - hope you managed to find one!

I know what you mean about it being hard for littlies. My DD2 just doesn't have a clue (3.75 yrs) although she gets really excited seeing the characters!

My DD1 gets frustrated with some of it but is managing to hold her own on some stuff - she is quite sporty though so can manage all the flying and leaping around .

I think the thing about it is, you don't actually have to go on all the quests if you don't want to. You can just preamble around the park finding characters etc. But on the whole to play the game properly you need to be able to follow a gameplan :thumbsup2

Haven't played it today/tonight but my DD1 is desperate to play again! It's been a real hit here. Got two other Kinect games (one very much for young kids) and they've hardly been opened yet!

I would LOVE this game. I saw it in the shop but we don't have the hardware and can't afford it either grrrrrrrrrrrrrr. One day!

Aww Rach - I have heard a rumour that X box (Microsoft) are bringing out a new model next year. If it is true then the x box 360 will drop in price quite a bit I think.

They aren't cheap but I do think they are the best out there - the kinect is so sci-fi! I only really got it for this game though :lmao: There aren't that many family friendly kinect games out there but this is improving all the time.
