Slightly OT: Unexpected $184 into Disney fund

I found $184 cash in a money clip in the parking lot at work last October. I turned it in to security and they told me that if it went unclaimed for a few months I would get it. I had completely forgotten about it because I assumed it would get claimed right away. Well, guess what?! Today security called me to come pick up the money!!! I feel bad for whoever lost the money, but you'd think they wouldve claimed it. The building has over 2000 people and everyone knows where security is!

Anyway, the money is going straight into our Disney fund! I 'll buy Disney Dollars with it the next time we go to the Disney Store. Yeay!

I once turned in $100 bill that I found wadded up in a local restaurant. I knew the owner well, and she said in one week it would be mine if nobody claimed it.

Well, the person that lost it did claim it.... they even knew how it was folded, so it was really theirs. They sent the owner and I each a long stem rose for our honesty.

Nice, but I would rather have had the story end like yours!!!!

I'm sure whoever lost it didn't think that there were any honest people left and didn't bother to check with security for that very reason. Karma! Good for you!
