Slightly OT: Disney Themed Fiction for kids

Are there any disney-themed Fiction titles for kids 8+? I know of the Kingdom Keepers series by R. Pearson but would like to know if there are any others? Thanks

MY DS9 loves the Peter and the Starcatchers series. They just came out with #4. It's based on Peter Pan.

Thanks, My DS started the first book, then lost interest when she found Kingdom Keepers; I'm hoping she will restart it again while waiting for Kingdom Keepers 3 in April 2010.

Most of the recent movies have chapter books. You might need to check the local library to find them, though.

There's a POTC series based on Jack Sparrow growing up. The author is Rob Kidd. My son loves these books. There's something like 12-13 books in the series.

Those book suggestions sound great, especially the one based on Jack Sparrow. DS(6) is a great reader who started reading chapter books this summer so any new titles or series that will keep him interested is always welcomed. Thanks for the tip... you guys rock

My son corrected me, the stories are more about Jack as a young/teen captain and his adventures... Nonetheless, he loved them and now owns the whole series as well as the series that follows, The Legends of the Brethren Court, also by Kidd.
