Sleet & Freezing Rain!!! NOOOO!!!

Lots of ice for us too this morning. I am so glad that it came on Sunday when we can all stay home. I am so afraid of driving on this stuff. Of the 2 snow is better, but what I really want is SUMMER!

My husband felt a cold coming on yesterday. He just now asked me to go to the store for some NyQuil. Why didn't he think about this yesterday? It looks like a blizzard outside. Does NyQuil come in gallon size? I want to keep him quiet for a few days.

It has been snowing since 9:15 at quite a pace in our area (almost dead center of NC) We have about 1 1/2 inches on the ground--I can't believe that yesterday it was 60 degrees. Just keep it snow--last year's ice storm is a bad memory for all of us!!

Hopefully all the damage was done last year, I think most of the branches and trees that didn't fall during the storm have since been trimmed. We lost power for 3 days the first time and about 12 hours the 2nd ice storm. After the first one, DH went out and bought a big generator that would run our whole house and as of yesterday he couldn't get it started - just in case we need it. If the power goes out, I say we tailgate to WDW!
