Heck, I'll sleep anywhere.
Bed, to me, is wherever my head lands.

Don't think his boss would forgive him for that one!
mickeyfan2 said:I agree. But if you want to sleep with SO then get the teens a second connecting room and that way they get their own be too.
But I sleep so much better without him there.
It reminds me of when she was a baby, and she still even sucks in her sleep too! It's adorable.Disney Doll said:Oh man!!! You have had your son sleep with you and admit it on the DIS!!!!!!!!!!!!Put on your flame-proof suit!!!!!

and then I think the flames would begin!!! (and with good reason!!!!) Talk about your Freudian issues.Wishing on a star said:Ummmmm, I guess I don't even believe this comment!!! This was apparantly when the son was a little kid... Now that he is older, it said that he wouldn't want to sleep with her.
Now, give me a poster who sleeps with her adolescent boy...and then I think the flames would begin!!! (and with good reason!!!!) Talk about your Freudian issues.
In this post you make it sound as if it's not a big deal whether you sleep with DH or not but I think that some people reacted the way that they did because in the other thread you didn't come across that way. Your exact words were "Nope, not an option. I have to have DH next to me!" You can't blame others for assuming that you are putting yourself before your children when you make comments like this.Skatermom23 said:OP from other thread here...I can't believe how judgemental some people are. This is a vacation for us as well as the kids and we choose not to sleep apart. It has nothing to do with attachment issues. We just prefer not too. Obviously, if we had no other choice we would do so just to keep the kids from bickering. The point was that we do have options and I was only asking how other parents handled it. BTW, I have been married 19 years......

Nancy said:Personally, I don't want to sleep with my DH or my kids when I'm on vacation...those beds are WAY TOO SMALL! I can't stand being touched when I'm trying to sleep and I absolutely hate someone breathing on me...and lets not even talk about feet touching me!
We have a king size bed at home and I sleep as close to the edge as possible to avoid having DH's feet anywhere near me.
