So yeah....earlier tonight, I decided to just go into the chat and ask member services how I can lock in the current incentives with my guide out of town until February 16th. The guy on the chat was like "I can help you with that. Your guide is a good friend of mine!" One thing led to another....and my new points have already been added to my account.

I feel bad our guide didn't get the commission but I'm sure it's common for stuff like this to happen. I have no idea if that means this new guy is our guide now or not though? He was very nice and helpful. Answered all my questions.

The only thing that was kind of a bummer, he said our free Disney+ D23 membership wasn't enough for the discount. I know people here said that it was for them but he wouldn't do it. So we just quickly upgraded to the Gold membership so we still saved around $450 with that.

We're breaking the payment into thirds. If new incentives are better, I can just call and he'll change it. I honestly doubt they will be but you never know.

Also - for any other Nebraskans out there - we only have THREE days to change our minds, not 7 or 10.

We did MB on the 2025 points. Our last payment is mid-March.

The points already showed up on our account. So that's that! We are VDH members now and direct members! Woohoo!! Now I have to wait until July to book our first VDH stay. I hope a 1-bedroom will be available for our dates!

I have to dispute that the D23 free gold membership doesn't work, as it just worked for me. I sent a screenshot of my online membership card and it was subtracted from my total. At least you still got the discount however!

Yeah, I think it must depend on the guide? Would have been nice to have saved the extra $50 (plus tax) but didn't really feel like arguing about it. He said it had to be a "Gold membership" and when we logged in, it only said it was a regular membership and there was a page to upgrade to Gold for $50.

Can you ask one of the guides for help with a welcome home trip? I thought they were doing that now with direct points when you bought them.

Your situation is handled, but if anyone else is looking for their Disney+ D23 membership, first you have to sign up for it through Disney+. Then when you go to the D23 website, it should show this-

So once we get our MB rebate back, it means we basically paid $30,711.45
That breaks down to roughly $191.95 per point.
