:confused3 I am taking my dd, her husband and his adult sister to the BWV in September. We will be staying in a one bedroom. I requested a roll-away bed. I was told that there are none! Are there any creative ideas for sleeping arrangements?? My dd and her husband are not a problem but I do not really want to share a bed with his sister.

DVC resorts do not provide additional beds or bedding. An air mattress or sleeping bag would be an option. You will need also provide appropriate bed linens if you decide on the air mattress.

Have you considered two studios instead? Otherwise, the only option is a 2-bedroom...but that's a lot more points.

Actually they have them for the BWI, but DVC has decided not to use roll aways for any DVC as a matter of rule.

12 of us stayed in a grand villa. We brought 2 air mattresses because we were all adults, some single - not all couples and no small children. When we got to the grand villa, I called and told them just that, and that we needed 2 more blankets and pillows and they brought them right up with no problem. The 2 that used an air mattress were teens though.

remember you were still in the 12 person occu. rule , no need to tell CM you are using an air mattress. you can get extra pillows or blankets by just asking. They all ready know you have 12 in the room at check-in that's why no problem.

for OP as suggested I would get 2 studios in available. pts may vary but its worth it.

I agree with the 2 studioes.

I suggest that the 2 studios be at OKW because of the beds and no one would have to sleep on a sofa bed.

Bobbi :)

2 studios = 2 bathrooms. Shoot, when it's just DH and me, I wish we had 2 bathrooms

so with the 2 studios - same point wise as a 1-bedroom, not as impressive as a 1-bedroom - but hey you have to make choices....

then you would need to decide does his sister goes in the studio with them or you....

Do you have a SV or PV at BW? The point difference between a 2 BR at OKW and a 1 BR PV at BW is 0 point Sun-Thurs and 6 points/night from SV 1 BR. I would try to change = You have 1 King, 2 queens and the sofa at OKW in a 2BR for the same points or only a few more. - I know it is probably not the location you would prefer but it would make for much more privacy as well as 2 bathrooms. Good luck with your decision.

But remember, if you decide on the 2 studios, no kitchen....small fridge and microwave (x2)...you may want to invest in the blowup mattress, or ask her too, since she's rooming at no cost.
