Most indeed. A poster on MiceChat is reporting that the walkthrough is closing again on Monday to put some finishing touches on the walkthrough and that will open again in December. This is a prime example of why I say never count on something being open until you actually see it open for yourself.

The castle walk through is open! I went through it first thing this morning. I also asked about it closing Monday to add some finishing touches and the CM said it's open and that's not likely, it open and it will stay open. But I've heard of other times when the CM did not have all the details before, or the correct ones. Maybe someone going in the coming weeks can check that out and keep everone informed.

I'll be going down next week and I really hope it will be open. I'm not holding my breath or anything though. Better to expect it to be closed and find out it's open than expecting it to be open and find out it's closed.

I just went through yesterday afternoon - no lines! (Outside, anyway). Attempted to video the whole thing, but it was 95% waiting on the stairs and the backs of people in front of me, so I gave up.

Plenty of pictures though But I'm sure ya'll don't want any spoilers!

Pictures and video are definitely ok - just do not attempt to use flash! Since a lot of the effects are lighting and such, they wouldn't show up with flash - plus it'll just bounce off the glass. They're so well-lit you don't need it anyway.

These are the only 2 I have up on Photobucket so far -

I didn't count the displays, but I'd say at least 8. There are other cute things like doors where you hear the goons making noise on the other side.

The "doll" version, the one I remember, is gone. This is a re-do of the original 50s version - with flat scenes and special effects. I miss the dolls (you can find pictures of those here on Yesterland) but this new one is very very cool

There have been reports that the Imagineers were going to close it down again yesterday for some finishing touches, so that's why I'm taking the seeing is believing approach, especially since the opening dates for this were all over the place. It was open yesterday, so who knows.
