Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough

Hi!!

It's been my dream to go inside the castle, and see the walkthrough for years and years, and now that I've finally booked a trip to DL, I see that it's shut.

Is there any chance of it reopening in time for my trip in March? Any news about what's to become of it?

It closed almost immediatly after 9/11/01 and hasnt been heard of since. As its a dark area in the middle of the icon/park that very few people access it was deemed as a security risk

I have no idea if itll re-open for the 50th

I believe one of the scenes from the walkthru was recently installed in a window on Main Street.

Yes, one of the scenes is in a Main St. window.

Considering that it's no longer listed as an attraction, it's highly unlikely that we'll ever see it open again unless there's significant changes attached.

That's really a shame that DL had to close the castle because of terrorists!

I think the closing also had to do with the fact that it wasn't wheelchair accessible.
