sleeping beauty castle playset help

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has the sleeping beauty castle play set. My daughter recieved one for Christmas, and the box, directions accidentaly got thrown away. Do you know what the key is supposed to do? Also, there is a button that makes the castle light up and make a fanfare, but does it do anything else? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would suggest calling the manufacturer and asking if they would send you another set of directions. I'm sure that wouldn't be a problem.

When my girls got the Princess snowcone maker in the summer, they accidentially assembled it wrong...and there was no way to take these 2 pieces apart (it was the blade assembly! ) I called them and they sent me the 2 pieces free of charge!

If you don't know who made it, just check out a website that sells it and you can find the manufacturer's name listed.

thank you for your kind reply. I have tried emailing the manufacturer. But in the mean time, if anyone out there has/hady this toy, I would appreciate your help.

Don't know if this would help, but I did see that disneystore.com has this item. Maybe something in the description and picture they show might help you figure out what everything does.

I don't have the SB Castle, but in the Cinderella castle (mostly the same, sold at TDS this summer), the key is for locking the playset up. If you push the castle totally closed, there should be a "lock" near where the two pieces meet that they key will "lock" so it stays together. Hope this helps.

The key only unlocks the castle. It is hard to lock the castle. (I cannot do it) The button will put the lights on and the music, one way, and if you put it the other way the lights will just remain on. Under one of the other castle tops is a spinning wheel. When I opened it up, I went through all the pieces and couldn't imagine how you could play "Sleeping Beauty" without the spinning wheel, and then I found it.

Does your spinning wheel come out of the tower of the castle? Ours does not come out of the tower.

Yes, the key unlocks the castle although I also find it difficult to close, also!
