Sleeping Beauty (a little OT)

Is coming out on DVD in October!! I am soooo excited... we had practically every movie in VHS then the player died... so they are all in a drawer gathering dust... and I am working on our DVD collection... dd will be thrilled, I can bet I will need an Aurora dress for Halloween next year!

We have it on DVD from it's first DVD release - I think it was in '01. That is my favorite classic. Our DD hasn't seen it yet, but I know she'll like it - she loves Aurora. Her favorite is Cinderella, and my DW's favorite is Beauty & the Beast. I'm sure there will be new bonus features if it comes out again... cool.

Thanks for the information. We have a few gaps in our Disney Princess DVD library and that's a big one (as is Snow White).

For those missing some of the collection, you can always try half.com. Sometimes they have some decent deals on them. Just check the sellers ratings (sometimes they are selling copies- mostly when they are sold from a company outside the US)

we have it from the first release (this and cinderella were my favorites from childhood) but i will probably get suckered into buying the "remastered" version since it is such a favorite.

im really eager to get a copy of beauty and the beast on dvd. anyone know when thats coming out of the vault?

I want alice in wonderland and pinoccio (sp) ever since we went to disneyland my son LOVES pinoc... we were in the car the other day and he was like mom don't lye your nose is starting grow ...... i just bought dumbo.... and there is another on i was looking for but can't remember

I would like that one too... we have a copy from a friend, but its not the same... got it after seeing the live show so DD would understand how cool the "be our guest part is"!

I absolutely can't wait for this!!!! I'm so excited to get it!!! We had a fire and lost most of our movies and all our VHS so I haven't seen this one for about 2 years now!!! Because of the fire we do have a lot of gaps, we are just filling them in as we can.

Yay!!!! I had Sleeping Beauty on DVD when it first came out then I moved and Gone forever I suppose. I can't wait to get it again.

I'm totally ready for Snow White to come out again. I think our Sleeping Beauty is just fine, though, so we won't be buying that one again.

I bought all of my favorites on VHS and then when DVDs came out I bought most of them AGAIN on DVD. I still have all of the VHS tapes. I don't know what I'll do with them, but I don't think I could get rid of them.


I think I have over 30 Disney DVDs and probably 40 Disney VHS tapes.
