We have 8 of us leaving in one week for a combined Hard Rock Hotel - BCV 11day vacation (Can't Wait). My question is has anyone ever used an air mattress is a 2 BRV? Our kids are teenagers and would prefer the pullout in the second bedroom to themselves. Also, is this something that might be available on site or would we have to pack one and take it on the plane?

I'm going to need an air mattress in December. My Mom is coming along and my DD doesn't want to share the pull-out bed so DD will sleep on the air mattress. I'm going to ship the air mattress to the resort. It's too heavy to carry with us on the plane. I'm sure it will cost less than $10 each way. It's worth it not to carry it around.

Sure you can use and air mattress, but they do not have them available at the resort. If you want to use one you'll have to bring it with you.

Others have reported earlier this summer (search "Aerobed" for thread) that they DID receive complimentary use of air mattress/Aerobed from the BCV staff. They are apparently available in limited quantities, and cannot be guaranteed.

We fly SW and since they still allow 2 bags per person we have found putting the airbed, sheets or a lightweight sleeping bag in a rolling duffle works for us and using ME it gets delivered right to the room. If you have a rental car you could always buy one at Super WalMart or Target so as to not have to ship or carry it with you. Don't forget a pump to blow it up if you go with something other than an aerobed or coleman quikbed.
