We're staying at BWV in July. Family is myself & hubby, 10 year old daughter, and 2 yr old twins (they will be 3 in July). Does anyone have experience with the portable sleeping cots? Or any suggestions for other options? Twins sharing the bed with the 10 yr old isn't an option-they are extremely restless sleepers and while they might get a good night's sleep-no one else will. The plan now is for hubby & I to share the bed, older dd on the pull out and twins on the cots. But I know they would be purchased for this trip and never used again so trying to see if there are any options I overlooked

I plan on my 2 1/2 YO to sleep in the pack n play, during our trip in Dec. She's about 2 now, and sleeps in one when we go camping. Pack and plays are available at the hotel usually.

The twins can sleep in two pack n plays from the resort. We never had any difficulty getting two. One will likely be in a closet in the room and if you call housekeeping and ask for another one because you have twins they will bring it.

In all of the World that is Disney, they should be able to find 2 pack n plays for your twins to sleep in. At that age, I would sleep better with them contained anyway, rather than able to climb out of bed and walk around.

I'd call the resort and ask if they have them available. If they do not or if it is a first come first serve you can also rent them. I can't remember the name of the company but I've seen a lot of mentions of it on these forums

My kids were way too big for pack n plays by 2.5. I would suggest the twins on the pull out and bringing along a twin sized air mattress for the 10 year old. We always bring a good air mattress for my DS8 and he sleeps great on it. We always put it up against the slider in the bedroom.

My daughter is currently two but in 90th percentile for height and weight (my husband is 6'9" so I kind of expected it). We were trying to figure out sleeping arrangements for our trip in September and got out the pack n play. It's a cheap graco from Walmart. She fit fine and even rolled over and said night night when we put her in. She tends to sleep balled up anyway so I feel comfortable with this for her. It's not like it will be her permanent bed. It's just for a little over a week. Just my two cents but that was our decision.

I also added an extra mattress and padded fitted sheet for comfort. You can buy it all on amazon. I take the pack n play, wrap the extra mattress around it, and put it all in a large rolling duffle. Bed in a bag with extra pockets for blankets and lovies. It's great.

Thanks everyone! I think the pack n plays would be too small & a hazard-I have climbers-I think we'll be going with the air mattress!
