Anyone have experience with an adult sleeping on the sleeper sofa at Park Vue Inn? We really enjoyed the convenience of PVI 3 years ago and want to stay there again. Because we are a family of 5 now, we require a larger room. Since the room can accomodate 6, we invited my mom to join us, but unfortunately the 3 queen room isn't available so we are booked for a 2 queen + sleeper sofa. Understandably, my hubby wants to sleep in a separate room from my mother, but that means he's on the sleeper sofa...Any opinions on whether this will be tolerable or if we need to look for something else?

Just a suggestion: go ahead and book something else at one or more places nearby. You can always cancel as your dates get closer (make sure there is no penalty for this). Keep looking for deals on the room/s you have booked. Sometimes a special rate can pop up at the last minute before your trip, so keep checking. Also, call the PVI to tell them to note on your reservation that you prefer the 3 queen room and that if someone cancels that room during your dates, you would like the hotel to switch your reservation.

It has been a while, but we did have one of those rooms and I do not recall a door between the beds and the couch area-but they may have remodeled since then (6-7 years ago). My brother did crash on the couch one night and it was miserable according to him. I would do what LuckyRabbit suggested.

My 10yo-at-the-time said its tolerable, but not her favorite or the most comfortable sleeper sofa she's been on.
