Has anyone slept on the sleeper chair in Kidani? How is it? DD is about 5'4 and I was hoping she could sleep on it. We may try to stay at AKV in Jan. in a 1 bedroom. Also does anyone have the square footage of the rooms at Kidani and Jambo and OKW. I would appreciate them. I have seen them and can't remember where. Thanks. After all of this deciding we will probably not have availablity at Kidani and then all of this will be for nothing but I will be trying.

Can you move the sleeper chair to the Bedroom. My in-laws will be sleeping in the living room, so my daughter would probably sleep in the bedroom with us.

I haven't slept on one although we did fold it out to see how big it is. I think it should be long enough. As to moving the chair into the bedroom....it folds out pretty big and is wide.....I doubt it'd fit.

629 - 710 square feet in Jambo House
807 square feet in Kidani Village
942 square feet in OKW

All one bedroom units. HTH!

I slept on one in Jambo. I'm 5' 9", and pooh sized. I found it very comfortable, just as a reference for you - I don't find the pull out sofa's comfortable. I fought my DS 11 to sleep in the chair - I won. LOL

The chair is a big overstuffed chair. It may be difficult to move.

Have you thought about bringing an aero bed?? When we have extended family with us and in order for each family to have their own room - I will put my DS on the floor of the master on an aero bed, we have plenty of room, we deflate it every morning and store it in the closet.

I put my six foot tall brother on the chair bed. He said it was fine.

Your best bet may be an air mattress for her.

For your own safety, and to keep the unit as new as possible, please don't try to move furniture about.

I agree. The chair is VERY heavy and large, and I would not advise trying to move it to the bedroom. Besides, I really doubt it would fit anywhere in there. You would have to lift it OVER the bed to get it in front of the sliding doors, and it would be a tight fit if you could get it there.

I'd take an airbed if you don't want her in the living room with the inlaws. Either that, or give them the master and you take the pull out sofa. That is probably the best solution anyway, since the inlaws are probably a bit older and would benefit from a better bed.

My 9 year old son slept on the sleeper chair. He loved it because it was cozy. But it didn't look that big. So I'm not sure if an adult or a tall child would be comfortable in it. :confused3

And yes, the chair doesn't look very heavy, but it is quite heavy. We had a hard time moving it over even a little so the sleeper sofa can be opened.
