Great shots DEBBIE, too bad mine is not focused I downloaded your parasailing shots of ship. SORRY I didnt download your feet We have sailed 7 times on the WONDER and never been to the secret deck. How do you get there and can you just relax in those chairs with your DRINKIES?

Thanks, Ian! I really appreciate that coming from you, cause you've posted some fantastic shots, yourself!! I know...I was kind of bummed that your picture is a little out of focus...maybe it knew you had been drinking some yummy DCL adult beverages so it thought that's how it should take your picture. LOL!!! That's ok that you didn't download a pic of my feet...I guess I'll get over it. You've REALLY sailed 67 times?!!!!!!! No way!!! The secret deck is on deck 7 aft. So, basically you take the aft elevators to deck 7, the door is in the middle of the ship, not off to the port side or starboard side (sp?). And there's a sign that says something about the door being unlocked from 7 am to 7 pm. Yes, of course you can take your DRINKIES and sit there and relax!!!

7 TIMES My finger slipped!!!! I corrected that. I wish 67 times. If we sailed that many times there would be the MACPHERSON SUITE put on a door. Maybe you and Junior had some adult beverages and you thought Camera was steady!

That must have been it....I DID have my own banana rum in my room, so I must have been drinking it right before I took the picture! Well, next time I'll just have to take your picture BEFORE I start drinking the rum!

DAY 4:

Sea Day

So, I got up this morning and tried to tidy up the room a little bit. I think I was out of bed by 8:00 am. Then at 10:15, it was time to head up for brunch. While we had a GREAT time with our new DIS friends (Shawn & Milford and Terrie & Wally), I have to say this was the worst Palo meal we’ve ever had in our 7 cruises. I was quite disappointed. The desserts were to die for though! YUM!!! And the cheeses were all great (I LOVE cheese and chocolate!). I ordered pizza because the last time we had pizza from Palo it was the best pizza my taste buds had ever had the pleasure of tasting. Not so much this time…the pizza almost tasted like frozen pizza. I’ll be letting DCL know this. Now, of course, by now you know that we were taking pictures of our food at each meal. So, of course we have to carry on the tradition here in Palo. DH’s dish came out and when I tried taking the picture, I couldn’t tell where my camera was focused. So I snapped a picture of his BREAD! LMAO!

When we were finished a Palo, we headed to the Gold & Platinum CC reception. We met some more great DVC people there. We got our picture taken with Mickey. Listened to a short speech from the President of DCL. And watched a short clip on the Dream. Now we are extremely excited to go on the new ship!!!

This lady was invited to the Gold & Platinum CC reception even though it was only her 4th cruise. She's 104 and her first cruise was four years ago when she was 100! How awesome is that!?

We didn’t have anything else planned for this afternoon. So we went swimming. We were going to go in the Quiet Cove pool but it wasn’t quite as quiet as the Goofy pool!

We watched The Little Mermaid while we were hanging out in the pool. Lilo and Stitch stopped by the pool and Stitch wasn’t minding his manners. He turned around and picked his nose! What a bad example he was setting for the kids! HAHA!

We went back to the room and got cleaned up and then just ventured around the ship. Stopped in the shops and wished we had more money so we could buy everything we saw.

Then we went to dinner and had another fun night with our new friends. After dinner I was so excited about going to get my picture taken with Walt Disney’s Academy Award. I don’t normally get excited about that type of stuff, but it was the real Academy Award and it was a piece of history and how many chances am *I* going to have to be that close to such an incredible award?! Then after we got to see the Academy Award and take a picture of it, we went to the Walt Disney Theater to watch Secretariat. This was a show time that was added last minute because of how popular the movie was at previous viewings. Our dinner mates got confused because they didn’t see it on the navigator so they never showed up. Bed time tonight? LATE!!!! I think around 2 am.

Yay, a great update! I love the story of the 104 year old....I hope that I'm still DCL cruising when I'm that age!
