I haven't posted on the Disboards for about 2 years and that was over in the cruise threads...I haven't been over here in the parks division in many a year....always appreciate the vast well of knowledge available to drink from here....

My wife and I are traveling sans family with the intent of visiting different resorts we have yet to explore and sample the many many many restaurants we haven't been able to visit with the children and grandkids...probably no park activity at all

Anyhow, The dine around seems pretty fabulous to me. Am I correct in that assumption?

I haven't done the formal Dine Around program before, but we've done our own version several times: bevs and apps at Cali Grill when they open, then at Trader Sam's Tiki Terrace or 'Ohana's bar, Citricos if we have time, and back to Cali Grill for champagne, fireworks, and maybe dessert.

We don't make ADRs and instead go to the lounges.

Yep, my wife and I had a really fun time. Not cheap - I think it was around $330 for two when all was said and done - but we enjoyed chatting with different people in the group at different stops (there will be chatting and mingling - hard to avoid) and the variety of foods, drinks, and locations was pretty cool. I recommend it.
