Don’t know if this has come up elsewhere, but …
Does anyone know why the Skyliner runs outbound on the left of the supports on the Epcot - Caribbean Beach line but on the right from both Pop and Studios?

I always assumed it had to do with how they wanted the guest flow directed at the stations. Although, to be honest, I never understood why Epcot has the entrance and exit walkways on the same side of the station, since people exiting Epcot need to cross the path of people arriving to enter the park. I suppose during peak times, most of the traffic would be doing one or the other, but even in the middle of the day I have seen people collide trying to get where they were going. They don’t have the other stations configured that way.

The same sort of idea crossed my mind but I haven’t been back since they’ve gone into service to view for myself.

They are easy to use, and most stations have the entering guests queue on one side and the exiting guests walking on the other so it’s not an issue. As many times as I have ridden it, leaving Epcot always gives me pause because I keep expecting the entrance to be on the opposite side from the exit, when they both are on the same side until you reach the actual loading platform (which wraps around within the station so it loads on the opposite side).
