Skyliner and Nausea?

How likely is motion sickness from skyliner? I am sure it sways a bit in heavy wind, but what about average weather conditions?

For reference, I get nauseated if I read or look at my phone in the car. No Guardians for me and I can only ride Star Tours either sitting in the middle of the platform or taking meclizine.

Bobbing is minimal under normal weather. It’s more gentle when the winds aren’t high.

I am exactly the same. It takes very little to make me feel ill but I had no issues on the skyliner. Granted that was in normal winds

Three kiddos who have trouble with motion sickness and none have ever complained on the Skyliner.

Sit facing forward and you should be fine.

Although maybe I shouldn't be the one answering because honestly I'm not even sure how anyone can get sick on GotG because to me it gives you so much cool breeze and is so smooth and does not make me feel the least be motion sick.

I also get horrible motion sickness..can’t ride Star Tours, Test Tack or any coaster. I also have a severe fear of heights. When it was first announced I said No Skyliner ever. Decided to try it “once”. I absolutely love it! We stay at YC a few times a year, so we spend a lot of down time. Sometimes we ride the Skyliner to Studios & back, just for fun. I’ve never once gotten motion sickness & even the height doesn’t bother me. CBR to Studios is the shortest leg. Maybe try that once & see how you do.

I had multiple severe ear infections as a kid so I have inner ear issues & get motion sickness very easily. My husband tried Guardians once. He never gets motion sickness, ever. He barely made it off & was thisclose to being physically ill. I think anyone who doesn’t get motion sick is very lucky, coz it stinks.

I can't swing on a swing set without feeling some motion sickness but was fine on the Skyliner.

I get motion sick in cars and planes but have never on a ride.
