At least a few! I bought 5 tickets rt to burbank for $204. They have many dates still available for St. Augestine.

Yea, folks are getting faster at getting those tix. I guess lots of people were up at 4:30 or so.

I snagged some to oakland to see my bro who lives in the bay area and a 3 day trip to st augustine for march. The St. augustine ones are pretty nice now since they'll have 2 flights a day there and one gets in really early and the other leaves pretty late :) The one that was arriving at 3pm just pretty much killed the day.

Have used them a cpl of times now and really enjoyed the flights. Winter time is coming so I guess we'll see how that goes. Being in Central Ohio, it's great for me :)

No kidding! I had to buy 5 and was locked out twice due to not typing fast enough!

But they are also taking some flights away, or should I say re-directing them. In today's columbus dispatch, they are dropping their flights from Columbus to Bellinham (seattle) WA, and San Diego, CA. They are also dropping one of their Burbank flights. According to the Dispatch, this again leaves Columbus with no direct flights to the San Diego or Seattle areas. 2 areas that the airport was targetting.

They are adding a 2nd flight to Greensboro and a 3rd to Punta Gorda (Fort Myer's FL)

I was bummed about SD. That would have been our first choice.

How do you know when they release their next batch of dates? Do they make an announcement in advance on their website or something?

Email..
It's all email and they do change their site also.
The email tends to go out (or I get mine) around 4:20 am.

I got an e-mail at 4:21 am announcing their $10 fares. I checked the schedules and everything was $10.
$95 total for the 3 of us sounded like a great spring weekend trip to WDW BUT; Because of the late and early flight times into a small, St Augustine airport I checked for rental cars. The 2 agencies, Hertz and Enterprise would both be closed during the arrival and departure times. Since we're already booked for a week in April I passed up what might have been an airport headache. That falls under the Been there done it, think twice cataglory.
The same fare now would be over $600 total for the 3 of us to be stuck in an Airport.
Good Luck All,
Joe

I noticed that too! So I checked flying into Fort Myers (Punta Gorda) and the flight times are great, car rental places will be open, etc. And it is almost the same distance from WDW as it would be flying into St. Augustine...

I think you would be close to opening time for the early morning flight? Now the nighttime flight into St Augustine, just sucks. I was originally booked with them for my december trip, but when I saw cheap SW tix, I booked them. I was going when skybus had started the late flight, but hadnt started the early flight, so I would've been screwed at that point, but it worked out and I got a refund for my skybus tix :)

And when they first announced flights into St A they didnt have saturday hours late enough for the 3pm flight, but they added those for the car rental company, and they only had enterprise then also. So who knows, maybe they will somehow do rentals in the evening?

edit: The late flight into St A sucks, but it's great for departing. You could easily do a 'day trip' getting in at 8 am doing the beach or site seeing for the day then leave at 10pm.

I checked Ft Myers...and pretty much every possible combination of school holidays, flight times and other locations there are in that time frame but the eary and odd flight times ment taking off an extra school day. I didn't want to make too much out of a weekend.
Good Luck All,
Joe

I had been waiting and couldn't believe the email this morning! Jumped right on and nothing available:( Oh well.....

I got tickets at about 8:00 this morning from Pease airport in Portsmouth to Punta Gorda in late May, $95 for three tickets!!

We're going for just 3 nights, parking is free at Pease airport and DH has family in Punta Gorda and I have family in Sarasota so we probably won't even need a hotel...doesn't get much cheaper than that!!:woohoo: We already had our vacations planned for next year so this is an "extra".:)

Now I just need to get a good deal on the car rental!! :teeth: I already booked Enterprise but it looks like the only discounts available are with the entertainment book.
