Skyauction???

You have to bid and the highest bidder wins. I've only won a hotel room once, I'm constantly being outbidded. Just make sure to read all the terms and exclusions carefully.

Be sure to read all the details and understand what the total is with all the fees. Even so, you can get incredible deals. In 2004 and 2005, we did a week in a 2-bedroom condo for $260 total. So the prices can be amazing.

Where do you find the condos? All I saw were hotel rooms? :confused3

It is actually a timeshare unit, not a condo. They do lots of timeshares. Do a search for "orlando" and you'll see them.

disneysteve

thnk you are the one who is familiar with Orbit One

seems that Club Navaigo might be in the process of beginning to gut the units to get them up to 5 star Interval International standard.....since they do not have any standing in the RCI hierarchy.....

the rep said that Club just took over the resorts in June ( Bryan Spanish Cove and Orbit One ) and that they are attached to Liki Tiki ( Island One group of timeshare resorts )

with respect to Skyauction

the next best auctions would be the ready set go auctions ....in the past those auctions have usually gone in the 50$ range , thus with fees end up being around 265 for the whole week

the nice feature about Ready Set Go .....you can put a hold on a unit if available before bidding, so you know what you are getting

as soon as you win the auction, you just have to confirm the unit on hold

you can also search "florida" or "2 bdr suite" on skyauction for other timeshare units put up for auction....but as stated read the details......in order to have a precise cost if you win

I hadn't heard about that. Orbit One is a great place. The units we've stayed in were in excellent condition, all new kitchens, nicely furnished, etc. I can't imagine them gutting those units as I'm not sure what they would change. Perhaps not all of the buildings were in that condition.

I'm with you on skyauction, I JUST DON'T GET IT?? I can never find anything remotely like what people say they get and there is no place on that stupid site where there is a Ready Set Go area.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom last May for $265. Won it through a Ready Set Go auction. To find those go to the search area and type in ready and they will come up. It took me several months to find a place in Orlando for our week. We stayed in Villas at Fortune Place. Some don't like it because it is about 25 minutes from the parks but it worked well for us. At that price we could drive a bit futher each day. (I have teens so the drive was not an issue like it would have been with smaller chldren) The resort was not 5 star by any means but our unit was clean, comfortable and nicely laid out. The area is very quite and we had no problem with loud neighbors. We would go there again.
