SkyAuction Help! Air/hotel auction

I was looking on Skyauction since I have seen so many people here have used them. I found an auction that has "Family Package - 7 Nights in 1 or 2 BR Suite in Orlando or Kissimmee, Florida at the Resort of Your Choice with Roundtrip Air from over 100 U.S. Cities via a Major American Carrier!"

I see the bidding is per person, and there is $195 fees/week. And when I clicked on the airports, Detroit had $25 next to it, so I am assuming that is another $25 per person.

Is this true and legit?? I know the bidding will probably go higher than it is now, but if it were to end at $50, for a family of 5 that would only be $570? (includes $25 Detroit fee and $195 fee). Is that right? Would I be gurananteed to get flights for the hotel dates listed? Is there anyone I can contact about this?

Please let me know if anyone knows of the 'catch', it sounds too good to be true!

Kelli - Sky Auction's ready set go auctions are probably their best deals. I have found that it is usually cheaper to book flights separately.

You can do a skyauction search for "ready". The auctions will pop up and you can do a search on availability for the timeframe you are thinking of going. The total extra fees for this type of auction is $195 - not per person. That means if the auction goes to like $50 you just add the $195 on that and that is what you pay for the week for the lodging.

I like this too because you can then book your air for the times that you want.

I like their regular auction - but the timeshares ONLY.

their flights are much too expensive - I can get SW for $125 (round trip) at times.

besides am lucky if I don't get a good rate can definitely drive it. round 9 to 12 hours depending upon rest stops.

their hotels are too expensive generally - sometimes you can find a bargin.

sorry a little OT - but about the 7 night condo rentals (on RSG or on vacation rentals buy-it-now), when do you think I might see some decent inventory for weeks 49 and 50 (Dec 8 and Dec 15 check-in) in Orlando. Currently , the Orlando inventory is very weak for Dec.
