sky auctions??

So how come I can't use the search function?

I was just on the site for sky auctions. I was wondering what it was all about. Has anyone used them? Any info on this site? I just saw an auction for a RT ticket from anywhere in the US for 13.00. What is that all about? Is this for real? Any info I would LOVE! Thanks Cristen

for weekly condo rentals in Orlando, and for a cruise. I have never used them for airfare. Even if the bid for the tickets says 13$, if you read the whole auction, it will tell you about lots of other add on fees.
For example, I won a ready set go auction for around $50(weekly 2 bedroom condo rental). Skyauction adds on $195 plus $15 for a total of $260. Even with those fees, it is a great deal.
I have seen lots of others on this board that use Skyauction- but never heard anyone mention using them for airfare. try looking on the budget or hotels boards- I think that is where most of the postings are.
I think they are a great deal for weekly rentals, but the nightly rentals are not as great.

thanks, did post on the budget board also. Nobody seemed really thrilled by them. I just thought to get a ticket for 100.00 even with their fees is still really cheap. Coloado is very expensive to fly out of, we can never find really good deals. Thanks anyway.
