Sky Auction Help

I have a question and am wondering if you can help me make sure I understand this correctly.

The auction is for multiple quantities and is per person. It reads:

Options Available
* Two Children Age 18 & Under for a $440 discount
* Child Age 18 & Under for a $220 discount

Does that mean for the children the package will cost me $220 less then the full price I am bidding?

Not sure what you are exactly bidding on but be careful with sky auction because there are fees that are on top of your bid price. I have only bought there once and it was a "per unit" auction for a timeshare. The price turned out to be very reasonable but if it had been per person...the charges would have been way too high.
Watch the total price on those per person and per night auctions. Others have said here, and I agree, that they are rarely a good deal.

You have to read skyauction listings very, very carefully. Don't just skim them!

no that sounds like added prices.

read the ad carefully can't be say enough - especially with skyauction.

I only bid on timeshares - both single auction (the resort I want is the only one offered)

and their home away - which were great but they have done away with at least at present.

I have been looking at these lately too. I believe that you take that discount off the price you bid for each child. So, if you bid $500, add your $195 fee (or whatever it is) then you would take that number and multiple by the number of adults. If you have children going you would take that number and subtract the discount they are offering.

Does that make sense??
