Has anybody been to Skull Kingdom?

And do you know if it is at all similar in design/practice to "Passage of Terror" at Blackpool Pleasure Beach?

Took my DS(10) into Passage of Terror last year and he screamed and cried his eyes out all through it! He will turn 11 when we're in Orlando and has read about Skull Kingdom in the Brits Guide.

It seems fairly close to where we will be staying on ID, and although my DD8 would hate it, my DS is "giving it the large" saying he can handle scary monsters now!

So Im thinking it could be a good "Mother & Son Only Attraction"!!!!!

Thanks all,

Lorraine.

PS - Kazzie- if you read this, Im sure I could fit this in my plans somewhere!!!!! As I said earlier - WE WANT TO DO EVERYTHING!!

My son loved Skull Kingdom last Summer but he was 13 now my sister took her two daughters in (9) (12) and they hated it and both ended up in tears. The younger one was absolutely petrified and they ended up being led out.

I haven't done "passage of terror" so can't coment but Skull Kingdom uses live actors to frighten you as you walk through.

Thanks Minx.

I think it does sound very much like Passage of Terror. In there, they use live actors representing different horror films.

There was Freddy Kruegar, Jason from Friday 13th, the Scream guy, (and loads of others) all chasing us through a pitch black maze, brandishing knives, chainsaws and all sorts of horrible things! It was terrifying!

So Skull Kingdom does sound similar, and it is recommended for those over 12.

I think, considering the cost of it, we'll give is a miss.

Thanks anyway.

Lorraine.

Not too sure but i am almost 95% in thinking that it shut down late last year

It was still open when we went in February and we were going to go there. Got a bit worried when there were no other cars in the car park then when we got to the counter there was a bloke arguing for his money back because it wasn't very good, so we didn't go in!!!

Thanks guys!

Im definitely gonna miss this one out then!!

Time (and money) will be limited!

Lorraine.
