Skooter Repair Help!

Littlebelle's skooter died at the MK last night. Where is a good reliable repair shop near Disney for a person who doesn't have a car? Where to rent one if the repair will take some time?

Boardwalk; I believe. I don't know the name, but others will chime in on that count. Whether they fix all brands it's hard to say. I believe he handles Pride scooters. He has rentals for I think $30/day. Someone in guest services should know the name.

You can try and see if they will pick it up for you, but that may be doubtful. It could be tough on manual override to get it there on your own. You may have to taxi anywhere you go with it if no one will pick it up.

Hope you have some luck; this is an awful predicament to be in. I feel for you and my prayers are with you.

Thanks! She said something about $30 day so they must have mentioned something to her. She didn't mention Boardwalk though, I'll let her know.

There are a couple of companies listed in the disABILITIES FAQs thread.
I would suggest Care because they are a full service medical supply company as well as renting scooters.

Most of the rerpair shops I know are quite a distance. The one I use is about 20 miles from WDW. And I don't think they do repair work on weekends.

I would suggest contacting Buena Vista Scooters at the Boardwalk. They do have their repair shop on property and they do rentals also.

I also suggest Pride Mobility - even though I had a bad experience with management, the guy who came out to deliver the replacement wheelchair was very sweet and knowledgeable.
