Skipping lines...?

I was just about to comment about Forbidden Journey. The locker situation there is really a nightmare. I was the lucky one to put all of our bags in a locker while the rest of my party went on to the line. Every locker was full and it was wall to wall people in that tiny room waiting to pounce on the next available locker. So needless to say it was not a great experience trying to find my family in line and the looks I got when "skipping" people.

I also noticed a ton of people in the line with bags that didn't go to a locker and of course they were stopped right before the ride loads and told they had to go put their bag up. So that was a little fun to see their reaction. I don't know why there wasn't a CM that stopped them before getting into the line with a huge backpack.

Sorry you got to be the bag person:headache:. Poor DH was mortified, he asked why we didn't wait for him. They really need to fix that locker situation.

I've found that you need to bypass the first locker room and go through to the next one. I didn't find the lockers to be an issue at all once we figured that out. I liked not having to worry about our stuff falling out of the rides.

If someone is spending time playing one of games in the line at the Mine Train and the line moves along without them, then others should be able to go past them. Not sure if that is what you witnessed.
I agree with this. If I'm in line for the Mine train at Disney, or FJ or Gringott's at Universal I'll give you a reasonable amount of time to stop playing, or taking your picture and move ahead. If you're taking forever, yes, I will walk past you. If you're just walking slowly then I don't try to pass.

I've learned to put my stuff in another locker area so I dont have to deal with that mess of a locker room at FJ. It really is the worst.

I don't see people pushing past others. Once in a while there's a person or two trying to meet up with their party. However, I was accused of doing this back in Janaury. People don't seem to understand that at HM it is not a single file line.

Dawn

I heard someone make a comment once at HM when our family walked past others. They say repeatedly to fill all the open space yet people stay in the middle and only 1 or 2 people across. We always find that open space and walk up as far as we can. There are other attractions where it's not single file lines as well and if there is space and you are slow I'm going to walk around you. And I don't see that as line cutting.

Now if the space is full and people are pushing to get past then I would wonder like someone said if they left the line to use the bathroom or something. I haven't seen that much of it though but if it was happening a lot I could see it getting annoying.
