I'll second the advice to check the menus -- we have family members who did not like the food at Skipper Canteen when they were younger (but have since grown to like it). If you wind up at Be Our Guest and your boys are on the adventurous side, you can request to wait for the rose room (it has very cool lightning/Beast torn portrait effects) and definitely a less princessy vibe.
