As DH and I were moseying through Adventureland on our way to the WL boat,guess what we passed!!???
Yep,Skippers Canteen,with a couple of Skippers out front,trying to pull people in for lunch. Today was opening day. They open at 11, so they had only been open about an hour when we happened by. They are only taking walk in this week. No ADR's. Not sure about future weeks. Both young men we talked to out front were ex Skippers of the Jungle Cruise. They were very nice and funny,of course. They had menus( just two pages). I didn't notice the prices. I feel compelled to cancel my BOG ressies for tomorrow and go to Skippers. It's kinda exciting to try a place on it's second day. When it's so early in,there's always a chance " all the bugs" haven't been worked out yet,but since it could be a year until we return, we're walking up and in!!
11 is a tad too early for lunch for us,so we'll swing by around noon or so and have an adventure.
If the food is as nice as the staff,they have a hit on their hands.
