Apparently you can now make "normal" ADRs for this restaurant, as I was looking for lunch ressies on a whim for something beyond BOG. My husband is going to be so happy we don't have to gamble on getting a ressie here, as it was the one place he really wanted to eat at on our upcoming October trip. We are suckers for bad jokes, so this place seems right up our alley, even if the food ends up mediocre (as reviews seem to be all over the place).

I was just there. No problem getting a reservation same day. It was crowded at dinnertime. No interaction. Small portions. Well-seasoned.

My DD and DSIL want to try this restaurant and I hope they enjoy it. Thankfully they are not worried about CM inteaction, because this aspect seems to be all over the place. THey have decided that in the event the portions are not enough to fill them up, they will use a snack credit a little later.

Personally, I think the inconsistent portion sizes and CM interaction is going to be more of an issue than the same day ADR's were.

The thing about portion sizes: sometimes something looks small, but then you start eating it, and you feel full. At SC, I felt like there was very little oil or butter in the food. It was actually too healthy. So the smaller, 'healthier' portions ended up being unsatisfying, ie still hungry.

Our family typically tries some of each person's dish, but here, no one wanted to share even a bite! Appetizers as well: we typically get one for the table and none of us finish our dinner. Here, we got two to share, and they were really sized for an individual.
