Skip HS in April?

Like some have said it’s really up to you and what your family wants to do. For my wife and I we spent a full day there. There is still a tons to do. TS, TOT, RNRC, Star Tours, shows like Indiana Jones, Beauty & the Beast are there. We did the meet and greets with Kylo Ren, BB8 and Chewy and checked out all the Star Wars merchandise and displays. Had lunch at 50’s Prime Time and then did dinner at Sci-Fi. We did the Star Wars desert party and watched the fireworks after that. This doesn’t include all the shops that we like to check out just see what’s new. This trip we didn’t do Fantasmic so there’s another option. There’s plenty to do at HS but it will depend on what you like to do. I wouldn’t ever skip HS.

When I first read the OP, I was wondering why would somebody be asking about skipping High School for the entire month of April, lol. I would invest in park hoppers. I only go to HS for Rock and Roller Coaster and maybe Fantasmic...then I can spend the rest of the day at MK or EPCOT.

I think I've got a plan(if fp's work out) we have a half day in one afternoon,when some of our group arrive,we'll just head to HS on that day and do all the fp and shows we can....

Explains why I didn’t see it as a option making my FP .. but we have annual passes and LOVE RNR and beauty and the beast show so we go for that .I don’t think I would pay cost for HS any time though ..

I might be skipping it this May.. however.. I'll be keeping my eye out on the park hours and schedule. Last year, my family was at WDW in May and there was one day where Animal Kingdom closed super early for a media preview of Pandora. My family went to Animal Kingdom that morning and it was GREAT. It was as close to empty as I've ever seen a park. There was only one other family at the quick service place when we ate lunch and play area at next to dinoland was empty, and zero wait on all of the toddler friendly rides (like safari and dinoland one). It was fantastic. If there is a day similar to that for Hollywood Studios this year, I will be jumping on that opportunity.
