Skincare regimen recommendations?

Does anyone have any recommendations for a good skincare regimen that doesn't break the bank? I went to an Arbonne party and love their RE9 product line but don't love the price that comes with it.

Wash with a mild soap (Nutrogena is usually pretty cheap). Use an inexpensive moisterizer (I use a generic cocoa butter during the night. Once a week or so, I use vaseline and sit in the tub with it on). Wear sunscreen during the day. (My day moisterizer is Nutrogena again, with sunscreen in it. My makeup also has sunscreen). Weekly, exfoliate - baking soda is gentle.

Olay and ROC lines from the drugstore are pretty respected by dermatologists for drugstore brands.

(I treat myself to L'Occtaine expensive skin care products. The results aren't any better than vaseline and baking soda, but I like feeling pampered once in a while).

I used Clinique 3 step for YEARS AND YEARS. Then I got hooked on DHC products. I love their cleansing oil, mild soap and mild lotion. I use their Rich moisture for my moisturizer. LOVE DHC.

I am a bare minerals girl....have been for years. They now have a skin care line I like too. I like their cleanser and neck cream. THEN.... I recently tried Philosophy's Purity for cleansing. LOVE IT. It takes off all of your makeup/mascara and does not leave your face feeling tight afterwards. You don't need a toner with this. I like to use this now because it is a multi tasker. You don't need eye makeup remover, something to take your makeup with, soap and toner.

I like Philosophy's Purity for wash at night the the microdelivery wash for morning & Hope in a Jar. And about twice a week I use the microdelivery
peel. I started buying on QVC.com it was a TSV.

I also have the microdeliverly face wash...but I don't use I every day. I like it...but not for every day.

I used Clinique, then moved to Mary Kay and just recently shifted to Avon Solutions and it is much cheaper and I really like it.

I use the exact same things! But I buy mine from Philosophy.com or Sephora when they are running 20 or 30% off sales.

I also just got a Clarisonic brush and I am TOTALLY hooked!!

I use Avon! Love Anew Rejuvenate, catch it on sale and it is a great price!

I used to be a big product snob until my dermatologist talked me into trying some other products. After a couple weeks my skin was much better than it had been on the super expensive products. After the samples she gave me (spectrogel and cetephil for cleanings and moisturizing, neutrogena for SPF) ran out I switched myself over to cheap natural alternatives (I'm a tree hugger and want to use natural products not tested on animals). I now use Korres face wash and Weleda. I have 30+ skin that's still oily with the occasional outbreak. The derm told me NOT to use acne products, only use gentle products regardless of the skin type. I do use Retin-A micro; a prescription that helps both pimples and aging. It has made the biggest difference in my skin's appearance.
There is a lot of truth to what experts say about the same ingredients being in the drugstore brands as there is in the highend department store brands. Some are identical with the exception to packaging and fragrance!

LOVE the clarisonic too. I have the Mia one. I got in in Dec. LOVE IT. I use it with the Purity or the Bare Minerals face wash.

I have this Clarisonic knock off and I'm pleased ~

Check out this youtube review *she also has a Clarisonic*

Here it is on Amazon

Here it is direct from the company and these are the replacement brushes.

Heck the Olay one is even cheaper and has great reviews.

I'm a huge Retin-A micro fan!!! I also use sunscreen everyday no matter waht.

LOVE Clinique! The fact that they are fragrance free is what first appealed to me (sensitive skin) and I love almost every product I've tried. Clinique now dominates my regimen.

I do venture to Olay for my moisturizer and use the fragrance free face lotion with SPF. Always been very satisfied with it.

After I was treated with Accutane in 2004, my dermatologist told me to use nothing but Cetaphil cleanser, no toner nothing else except Cetaphil moisturizer in the dead of winter if I thought I needed it. I can purchase a large double pack of Cetaphil at Sam's for about $18.00.
I still use Cetaphil at night, no moisturizer. Am is a spa brand called Image that has glycolyic acid, then a bit of Mary Kay Timeless moisturizer (helping out a good friend who sells MK), mixed with foundation.
I also use MK eye gel.

I use DOVE body wash and soap, have for many many years, actually 17.5 to be exact.
I use CETAPHIL about once a week. Thats it...
I am touching 50, lol and I am always told that I can pass for late 30s...too funny, genetics is part of it for sure but I really think that using those "rougher" scrub mitts on face and body (versus the machines out there that cost tons more) keeps me thoroughly exfoliated and it really just seems to work for me....;)

I absolutely swear by Mario Badescu products. I've tried everything over the years, and it's by far the best thing I've ever found. I've hooked at least half the people I work with on it. If you go to their website and fill out the skin survey, they'll send you an e-mail in a couple of days offering free samples. If you respond to it, they'll send you decently sized samples of your entire regimen so you can try it out before you buy.:thumbsup2

I have to agree. I used Philosophy's Purity in the PM and Microdelivery wash in the AM. I use the Mictrodelivery peel once a week and everytime I use it I'm amazed at the results. Haven't used Hope in a Jar, but I'd like to.

Recently I won the Bare Essencials "House Party" and have been using their skincare and love it too.
