Skin Tags

I had a mole and a skin tag removed at the same time. The skin tag was behind my ear and had been there as long as I could remember. My Doctor burned them off. Gave me a little shot to numb it and 5 minutes later they were gone.

I take my own off- you can numb it with some ice- quickly clean with alcohol and pull with tweezers and snip it off with clippers or sharp scissors- it does hurt but not any more than getting poked with a needle while sewing. I'm diabetic so I guess pain is relative.

I don't know.....I just don't think I cold snip my own off!! Kind of like when you go to get "waxed" ~ I couldn't do that to myself either because I would never be able to pull the strip off!!

I had one removed last week. The Dr froze it with a teeny needle (It was on my neck) and snip...gone! I didn't even know he had done it.Tiny band aid...little Polysporin for a couple of days, I didn't even have a mark. Just a very small red spot for a couple of hours after. Effortless..

My sister ties thread around them to cut off the blood supply and snips off with tiny nail scissors. She says it is painless.

They can be annoying...but easily taken care of one way or another!

I've heard that tea tree oil can work to get rid of them, but it hasn't worked for me!

Since this thread was started, I found a relatively painful skin tag last night. Now I have to decide which method to use to get rid of it. And I fully blame this thread for causing it to appear. :)
