I have a few small red raised patches of bumps on my belly area and one leg. The rash seems to be spreading a little.

Any ideas what it could be? I will be contacting my doc after the holidays

How far along are you? I had PUPPS when I was pregnant with my first. Its a allergic reaction to the breakdown of the placenta. I had the worst rash everywhere on my body except my face and my chest. It itched so bad that I still have scars on my legs where I scratched myself to death.. Thankfully I had it for only about a week and a half and they ended up inducing me at 37 weeks because I was miserable and I failed the stress test.. the best thing was that the rash and itchiness were gone within minutes of delivering the placenta...

I had PUPPs with my son. Nothing dangerous...just really, really, itchy and annoying!

It started a bit about a week before I gave birth. Wasn't too horrible at all. Didn't think much of it.

After I gave birth, it became HORRIBLE! Worst thing I ever had. I wanted to scratch my skin off. I would go through whole tubes of steroid cream.

I had a c section so couldn't take baths for awhile. When I could, I would soak in some sort of bath (oatmeal maybe...can't remember).

It lasted about 3 weeks.

Good news is that I had no time to feel any pain from my csection bc my rash drove me nuts instead!

Nothing at all with my second son.

Good luck!

with my first pregnancy I developed a hivelike rash, it started around my torso, and spread to my legs. Somehow I became sensitive to elastic/lycra. I had to wear a tight cotton tank top instead of a bra! and I had buy undies that had material over the elastic, and I had to stop wearing support hose for my veins. I took alot of oatmeal baths, and it lasted about 2 months!!!! :confused3 my ob didn't really know why

Had a terrible itchy rash while pregnant with DS. My doctor said it was a detergent sensitivity that was triggered by the pregnancy. She did prescribe a topical lotion.

I remember being that itchy when I was pregnant, all three times. Scratched myself to pieces with a hairbrush! It was like having body lice.:crazy2:
