are people allowed to skateboard in the parks I don't think so but my friend says they are

Thanks Captain Hook-ed On Disney

Nope. No skateboarding, roller skating, roller blading not even Heeley's (the shoes with wheels) are allowed to be used by guests for obvious safety reasons.

Yeh, they even did away with Tarzan Rocks.
That was roller bladeing, but about the same huh?

As a former skater who is no longer able to participate only due to his knees... I can see why you might want to, but cannot fathom anyone actually thinking they might be allowed.

FWIW... I saw Heely's (sp?) everywhere last week. Lots of kids scooting around on them, in the parks at at the resort.

I saw tons of kids using those roller skate shoes... and I was ready to slap each and every one of them lmao :rolleyes1

I saw kids with heelys as well last week. I also saw a lady swigging a Coors Light outside of the Jungle Cruise. I DID tell security about that one. I guess they didn't search her cooler well enough OR they hid the brews underneath soda cans. I was appalled. My DH told me to mind my business, but in my good consience, I could not just let it go. MK is alcohol-free. Period. She was drinking the beer in broad daylight. It was very "un-Disney."

No heelys? GOOD! Those things are so obnoxious inside! They are worse then kids running through stores and stuff and for some reason parents seem totally content to let their kids do it.
