Skateboarding

I have two nephews, ages 10 and 13, who love skateboarding. I'm thinking ahead to their birthdays and was wondering if any of you had birthday gift suggestions that revolve around skateboarding. I have given a skateboard book, sort of like something you would put on a coffee table, which they really loved and a t-shirt. Does anyone know what is popular right now? Accessories for their skateboard is not an option. I would prefer something else skateboard related.

If you are going off of their love of skateboarding, I'd get them gift certificates to their local skate shop. Around here the skateboard kids love the clothing, stickers (to put on their boards), etc. in Zumiez.

If there is an indoor skate park in their area, those usually charge admission so a GC to that type of place would be great too. Some even offer lessons.

You can get some really fun skateboarding sticker packs off Amazon - my sister in law got one for my son for his birthday and he's been sticking them on EVERYTHING lol.

I agree with Zumiez, they stick with trends so it's a fairly safe go to for family. When my son was into it he loved Rastaclat bracelets.

My cousin was into skateboarding and he loved some fancy socks. I don't know of a specific kind, but I'm sure the skate shop could direct you.

My son is a skateboarder. He loved certain wheels or upgraded trucks. He also wanted a longboard at one point. I like the idea of a gift cert to a local skateboard shop (find out from their mom where they go). Also, there are certain skateboarding gloves you can get, which they use when doing tricks. Then again, maybe their mom wants to discourage tricks?
