Has anyone done this excursion and still been able to make it to the dining room for Main Dining? It is listed as lasting until 6 pm, but I hate to miss one of the menus in the dining room.

I haven't done that excursion, but I will soon (during the June 15th sailing). I was wondering the same exact question, because my husband and I would prefer to dine in the MDR & we have main seating, too.

It's going to be our 1st Disney cruise so I'm not even sure how "late" you can be to the main dining seating before being turned away.

Is your cruise before mine?

Our cruise is in July. I'm wondering if the menu at Beach Blanket will be the Frozen menu as well. I think arriving to the MDR more than 15 minutes late night throw off the servers. My other thought was to order the night before. Two of our kids have allergies so we have to order ahead for them anyway. Will you post your experience after the cruise?

Is Beach Blanket buffet? I am not a fan of buffets.

Are Beach Blanket & Room Service our only options for dinner if we don't go to our assigned MDR?

Absolutely, I'll post after I return.

Hopefully someone who did this excursion last year will still chime in!

There's also the food on the pool deck. I believe BBB is sit down at dinner time.

For dinner Beach Blanket Buffet is a sit down with items from the MDR's. We are on the June 8th cruise and doing this excursion but we are late dining. I would talk to your servers, they may be able to arrange for you to have dinner at the late seating that day.

KristiMC - What a great idea! I didn't know that was even a possibility. I will definitely try that...and I'll report back. Thanks!

(Sorry OP...I hope it's okay for me to reply here...apologies if it's not - I'm a newbie here)
