The Sizzix website is having a pretty good sale this weekend- 20% off every in stock item all day 9/27. It's not nearly as good as the 50% off sale, but for us poor souls who live in the wrong part of the country where they didn't have this awesome sale, it's decent enough. I have noticed that Sizzix's base price of dies is less than Michael's. I die that is 15.99 at Michaels is $12.99 or $13.99 on the Sizzix site, so that's already a savings. Plus if you spend $100, there's free shipping.
I emailed Michael's and asked why the had different sales going on in different parts of the country and they said basically it was because of competition with other stores....I asked if they were ever planning on having that kind of sale on Sizzix on the West Coast and I got a very vague answer. I hope so!
