So I have kicked around a Universal Trip for my family and have been reading trip reports. In the one report the person shared that her husband was a bigger guy and could not ride certain rides. I am wondering if my bigger guys would not be able to ride many of the attractions. My DH is 6'10" and weighs 350pds - at Disney he is unable to ride Flight of Passage and Space Mountain but can ride everything else. My son is 6'7" weighs 300 pds and was just at Disney in January and was able to ride everything but will no longer ride Space Mountain as it physically hurts him. My other son is 6'5" and a skinny 175 pds and can ride everything. Just wondering what is everyone's experience.

The height will be the biggest issue. There is a facebook group I'm part of for larger ride questions. I would suggest looking there. They have "ride with me" forms showing size, weight and height. It's called Univeral Plus size and more. It couldn't hurt to look there.

Uso rides are not as forgiving as wdw rides. Many of the coasters are tight, but they all pretty much have test seats to try before you go, so that is helpful, so you don’t stand in line to find out they won’t work.

I know this is an old post but thank you for posting this. I just joined the group and after going through a few posts, I am feeling much more confident that I’ll be able to get on almost everything.

Was it his calves/restraints not locking on FoP that was the issue for him?

on HP forbidden journey in IoA, it seems the restraints are often an issue for more standard sized people who have barrel chest/large breast area.

FYI They do have some seating on a few rides that will accommodate larger people. You need to ask. I’m sure there’s a list here somewhere or google for specifics
