Always a studio. We stay an entire month in a studio and do cook in it. With a studio, that is how we can stay an entire month plus 2 weeks at VB, a seek at HHI and points left over.

I could not vote - not one more than the other. I have done all of them except the GV.

It all depends on who is coming with us. Kids, no kids, kid's friends, our friends, etc.

We always have friends/family with us, so it's a two bedroom! I also sleep less than most, so I really like the living room to be able to get up and read or watch T.V. till every one else gets up! Those of you who can make the studio work for 4, my hat is off to you! Once was all it took for me to say never again!

For several years DH and I stayed in studios to stretch points, then we made the huge mistake of staying in a one bedroom.................now, several add-ons later, we mostly stay in one bedrooms with an occasional studio stay.
If we take friends we will get a 1 bedroom and a studio. We love our friends and have great fun with them, but we also like our privacy.

We've spent 4 nights in studios (SSR and VWL) with 4 of us - parents & kids.

We've spent 2 nights in a 1 BR (BWV) - just husband and me - it was a waitlist error I think - we wanted a studio.

We've spent 8 nights in a 1 BR (BCV) at Christmas with all 4 of us.

Then we spent 2 nights in a 2 BR (BCV) at New Year's -- a free upgrade to our cash studio reservation!

So I guess the answer is 1 BR after all, but now that I've seen that 2 BR ...

So far we have stayed in a studio including 12 nights over Christmas & New Years; 2 adults & 2 kids. We never cooked, but would have loved a washer and dryer.

Just booked a 1 bdrm at the Boardwalk for this summer, so that might change everything!

When it's just DH and I a studio, when I go on my girl's trips with Mom, Sis, MIL then a 2 Bdr. When DH and I have a little one of our own we'll upgrade to 1 Bdrs.

I did not vote since my first stay will be next week, but it will be in a 1 BR. We will also be in a 1 BR again in September. It is just DH and I, but we tried to purchase enough points to be able to stay in a 1 BR for a week each year. We wanted the convenience of the kitchen and washer/dryer.

If it's just the two of us, we go with a studio. If family joins us - which is fairly often, we go with a bigger villa. Studios stretch the points and allow for longer/more stays, but I miss (really miss) the w/d. Other than that, we enjoy the studios.

It's most often DH and I so we stay in studios. In September, we're there for his brother's 60th birthday and it's a splurge -- a 2br at Kidani, and a 1 br right now at SSR. As a surprise for the young adults, I'm hoping to switch that to BLT when I can. After using all those points, we'll have to stay in studios or pay cash!

For just the two of us, we book a one bedroom. When the kids come along we book a two bedroom.

We're going three times this year, twice just the two of us, once witht the kids, so this year I voted for the 1 bedroom.

*Done just the two of us in a studio, but really miss our own laundry and the tub. And yes, we cook in the unit most all the time.

Just the 3 of us are always in a studio. We're going with my parents and sis in May and it will be our 2nd time in a 2 bedroom.

Always a 1BR here. We're splurging next year, taking my mother's side of (divorced) family for her birthday. We're booking a GV for the five of us those two weeks and can't wait. Since there's just DH and myself at the moment (ok, plus dog) we can't see many GV stays in our immedite future...

We did purposely buy enough points for two weeks in a 1BR during the time when we are most likely to visit (late April/early May) so that is meant to be our accommodation unless our family situation changes.

OMG That picture of your dog looks JUST LIKE MY CHILDHOOD DOG. I can't believe it. Her name was Angel and she was a beagle mix. She lived to be 14. WOW that is unreal.

We have only stayed in a 2 bedroom. We are family of 5 and our kids are older. Although I think even if our dd didn't come (she will be off to college this fall) we would still get a 2 bedroom. Heck....I don't see us getting anything smaller for a long time. I think if it were just us and no kids we would probably get a 1 br.
