Size of the tent sand pit in preferred sites?

We are camping with 10 people the first week of April. We will have out travel trailer with us and plan to also set up a tent. We have a preferred spot reserved. I'm looking at larger tents and wondering how big the tent pads are so I can get the right size tent. Thanks

The size varies - it is not standard.

Of course the tent pad is at least as wide as the driveway which is 12 feet in a Preferred and usually wider with the utility strip. The depth is the variable.

If you get a tent who has one (or either) dimension bigger than 12 feet, call the reservation line and ask them to add a note with the tent dimensions to your reservation. That way you should get a site assigned that fits your tent from the get go.

With a tent and a TT you will most like have to leave your vehicle in the parking lot. Just be sure to leave your parking pass in there. Happy camping!

So odds are a tent that is 16 ft. x 7 ft would be to big? Thanks for the help. I just want to but the right tent.
