size of the parks

I would really like to know how large are the theme parks... Some say it's 4km square, others say no... I know I am going to walk but if I know the size of the places, I'll prepare myself better !
I'have seen photos of main street and it seems like 10 km long !
Should I be scared ?!

I'm not sure exactly how big the parks are, but I walked around with a pedometer on for a couple of days, and the average was about 19 kilometers per day.

I don't know how big they are either. If you aren't used to walking I would suggest getting your legs used to it. One good thing is that there's always a bench or a ride to sit down on for a rest. Don't stress over it though. You will have such a great time you won't notice the miles you are walking.

MGM - 135 acres
DAK - 500 acres KS alone is 110 acres.

Main Street looks longer than it is due to the forced perspective of the Castle

I would say 6-10 miles a day is not unusual especially if you walk around Epcot totally

If you stay at Swan/Dolphin/Boardwalk/Beach&Yacht Club and walk to MGM and Epcot then 10+ miles per day is entirely possible

Yes, and that was just what Walt had in mind when he designed the MK, forced perspective.

I don't know the exact sizes, but you will do a lot of walking. It's not that bad with the constant breaks for rides and meals , and there are benches everywhere to take a break.

I suggest bringing at least two good pairs of sneakers and enough socks to change a few times a day.
