I am getting the room frige, and was wondering just how small it is. I want to buy milk, water, etc and need to know about how much I can fit. Do I buy only little containers of milk, or can I fit a gallon? Is there a freezer compartment also? If so, is it seperate from the frige, or inside it (icebox type)?

I'd buy little containers of milk. I cannot remember how big they were because it was 2 years ago but my mom and I bought small water bottles and we had just enough room. They are not like a normal fridge though.

No, they don't have a freezer compartment they are just an all-round cold storage place.

Enjoy!

I'd kind of like more specific info on this, too. My DS15 drinks half a gallon of milk a DAY, at least. Teenage boys...whatcha gonna do? At least he's not drinking soda. Anyway, I know the fridges in the rooms are regular dorm room type fridges, but those can range from 1.7 cubic feet to 2.5 c. ft.....up to 4.5 or something. I feel pretty sure they're not the biggest ones, but are they the tiniest? What have people been able to fit in there in past trips?

The fridge we had two years ago was the smaller dorm fridge. Ours did have a small freezer section (we were able to freeze two bottle of water). I know that we stored milk but I can't remember if I bought gallons or half-gallons. I think if you take the shelf out it should hold two gallons but that would be about all you could fit. There was some storage on the door also.

We were at CBR in January and for the first time my sister came. We had connecting rooms and she did something clever with the frig. that I hadn't thought of. She took out the rack in the middle.(just like post above) It allows you to stand up tall items-like milk and juice. Works great! Also, a few years ago we had a problem with our frig. getting cold. The maintenance man who came to our room said the cabinets they are in are too small so make sure you pull the frig out just a little so that the cabinet door stays slightly ajar. We haven't had a problem since.

You can get a gallon of mike in them with ese.
