We got routed to Pop Century after the AP rates were posted. How big is PC in comparison to, say, All-Star Music?

I'd like to stay on the other side of the pools (not facing them), but close to the food court and the bus stop. Any suggestions as to where I should put in a request for our rooms?

Check out the Pop Century FAQ... it has a lot of good information. :) From looking at the map it seems that the 60's area is closest to the food court... but the 50's and 70's are pretty close too. :)

Welcome to the DIS!!!!!!! :wave2: :earsgirl:

The BIGGEST difference between All-Star Music and Pop Century is that All-Star Music's buildings are laid out in a line, two by two. Pop Century's buildings are wrapped around the main building, so even the farthest building is still close.

Although Pop Century has 2,880 rooms compared to 1,920 of All-Star Music, we still only have ten buildings. The difference is that our buildings have 4 floors, and 72 rooms per floor, versus 3 floors, and 60 rooms. (PC has 2 extra rooms on each of the 3 wings)

Hi. I stayed in room 5136. It was overlooking the lake and close enough to the foodcourt and pool. Anywhere in that area would be a good spot. Actually, anywhere on the whole property would be fine. Everything is close. You won't be disappointed no matter what room you get.
