We are considering staying in WDW for a couple days before our VB stay, but don't want to spend as many points for our usual 2 bedroom. We are only a family of 4 but our two girls need their own bed. (One is 6 and a kicker and the other is 11 with sleep difficulties)

One thought is a OKW 1 bedroom and have the younger one sleep on the love seat. How long is the seat on the love seat?

IT's standard size, maybe 4.5 foot wide. If she can lay across ways on a full size mattress without hanging off, she should be OK. The other option is a mattress or palate in the floor.

When my DD's were younger and we used one bedrooms, we would bring along an Aero bed and they would take turns every other night.

I would not recommend sleeping on the loveseat, too much wear and tear on fabric and not enough room to stretch out for a 6 year old. The arms are quite wide on the piece.

We use an aero bed and write up a schedule for who gets it each night before we leave home--eliminates fights at 11pm with tired people who can't remember who slept where the night before :rolleyes1

Another option is to take the cushions you remove from the sleep sofa to make it into a bed and use those for a bed on the floor for your other DD. There are usually extra sheets and blankets in the master closet, or you could always just bring an extra sheet along with you. A queen sheet folded lengthwise could be crawled into like a sleeping bag.

We were at OKW last year and got a 1 BR. There are four of us - DH, DS (12), DD (5) and me. Our DD was 4 at the time and we turned the loveseat against the wall, put a sheet on the cushions, gave her a pillow and a blanket and it worked fine for our stay. Depending on your daughter's size, it may work, but I'd have a backup plan (like an air mattress) just in case she's too tall and it becomes uncomfortable for her.

If they replaced the older sleeper sofas at OKW with the newest model, the cushions don't come off any more. They fold under and support the end of the bed. So no more using them as a bed on the floor.

Thanks guys.

She is a little on the small side but it might be too tight a fit for a 6yo. We are flying so an Aerobed would be a pain to bring for just a couple nights. The cushions on the floor sound like the best option if the loveseat is too small (even if we have to use the loveseat cushions).

Are the new sleeper sofa's at OKW like the ones at SSR or the new ones at BWV? I thought I had heard they were the memory foam SSR variety.

I thought they were like the ones at BCV.

I'm sure you know better then I. Have you seen them? Some others have mentioned the memory foam mattress, which I thought was the SSR version.

True, but the love seat cushions come off yet.
