SixT Car Rental

Noone? I was curious too. There may be reason their prices are "too" good?

their facility is visible from 528 just outside of the airport and it is pretty big ... not a 5 car back of a gas station operation .....

but

other than at the airport, I've never seen another office.

There is no location in Canaveral (cruise port)

quick look at their web site says they are international .... most sites are outside of US so perhaps visitors from 'over there' feel comfortable with a name THEY know ...

there are 21 locations in Fl, around the major cities/airports . . .

from what I know now

if they had the best price and I was able to get and return to the airport, I'd use 'em

They don't work for someone who wants a one way to Canaveral for a cruise hooked to their WDW trip tho . . .

Although not a household name in the U.S. (since it only entered the market in 2011), Sixt is described as the fifth-largest rental car company in the world - and possibly the oldest, since it was founded in 1912. But I can't personally comment as to whether they're actually any good.

so sorry if this is a rather old thread.. but once landing at MCO , how would you get to their location to rent/pick up a car ??

took 3 clicks to find this ......

Rent a Car at Orlando International Airport
Our car rental services are located off site from the Orlando International Airport (MCO), easily reachable from the major roadways and with a courtesy shuttle from the airport. From the Orlando International Airport terminals make your way to the Level 1 Ground Transportation to find our shuttle.

My husband has used them several times on business trips and really likes them. He even left his iPad in the car and they offered to send someone to the airport with it & meet him at security. He didn't have time so they shipped it to us the next day. Their customer servife is awesome.

Used SIXT once because they had the best price for what I needed. Picked up at a hotel near Windsor Hills - Ramada on 192, I think, and returned to their location near MCO. No problems. Car was new/clean. No problems with return. No issues with billing. Shuttle from their offsite to MCO was quick. Good customer service. I would use them again if they had the best price.
Just google where to get gas to refill the car before you return it. I found a place that was close to their location that had reasonable prices. Posters on the Dis had warned that some locations in the area really jack up their gas prices. Their location is north of MCO.
