As Disney Cruise Line® repositions its flagship Disney Magic® to Southern California for the summer of 2005, clients can take advantage of a unique six-night cruise vacation from the Port of Los Angeles to the Mexican Riviera.

Bookings are now available for a one-time six-night cruise offered on the west coast itinerary. Rates start at $1,199 per person, (double occupancy) for a Category 12 Inside Stateroom.

This cruise will depart Los Angeles on July 17, 2005 and feature two relaxing and fun-filled days at sea before arriving in Mazatlan, a seaside city famous for beautiful beaches and pristine lagoons. Cabo San Lucas is the second port-of-call on this cruise vacation, where clients can enjoy snorkeling, sunbathing and relaxing. The cruise continues with another day at sea, before arriving back in Los Angeles.

Is this new because this is the first I've heard of it???

They're bringing the Magic here to L.A. to help celebrate Disneyland's 50th b-day - they are selling out FAST on these cruises - they haven't even offered rates to employees of the company yet :(so I probably won't get on one :(

Woops - sorry about that - my home computer must have freaked and added this three times :( Sorry folks! Didn't mean to be redundant, promise :)

I've asked for a quote on this one from DU but I don't think we'll get on....

The July 17 cruise is the only 6-night cruise. All the other West Coast Cruises are 7 nights: Saturday departure/Saturday arrival. I think it is only a 6 nighter as July 17 is the official 50th birthday of Disneyland - do you think the "big guns" will be cruising on this special cruise??

Hmmm...good question. I would tend to doubt it. My boss went on both the "exec" cruises for the Magic and the Wonder when they entered service - they were both abbreviated cruises for the higher up execs in the company - they might do some sort of a party on board for the big guns when it gets here - but I don't think any of them can be away from the office for that length of time - I can imagine some sort of celebratory event or something but no the whole cruise.
