Six months we'll be on our first DW trip at FW!

Thank you to this forum! After reading all the trip reports (especially TCD's) my family and I decided we'd love to stay at the fort for our first visit to Disney World.

We will be there six month from today! I am so excited. We have a popup camper that we'll haul from Oklahoma all the way to Disney. I made reservations for June 27th - July 8th. My dd's 6th birthday is July 6th so it will be even extra special for her. I just reserved dining with the princesses at Akershus on my dd's birthday.

I am so giddy with excitement right now.

Should I go ahead and call Kenny about a golf cart? I don't want to call too early but I don't want to miss out on getting a golf cart, either.

My friends and family think we are nuts. They can't understand why we are going during the summer when it's hot. It's hot here, too. I'd rather be in the happiest place on earth in the heat vs staying here in the heat. They also can't understand why we would want to camp. They just haven't been on here reading all those wonderful trip reports.

I agree with Lisa, I'd go ahead and reserve a cart.

A word of warning: You're gonna love FW; it's addicting! We went for the first time in '09 and brought my Mom, kicking and screaming. This past September, she asked if she could come along with us. Just the other day, she asked what month of '11 we would be back at the Fort.

Since you have had the opportunity to read some trip reports, you'll have do one of your own.

We enjoy going in July - and always crack up when people say "Don't you know it's going to be SO hot down there?" with that stricken look on their face - like we're going to hell or something.
