Six full Monthly Payments?

I see the option to make six full monthly payments towards my DVC loan and have been curious about how they treat the payment (paid by CC)? Do they take the full 6 months at that time? Do they take it each month? If you pay that way and they take it at that time do you still pay the next month or go 5 months without a payment?

It goes towards principal, you still keep on paying your monthly payment, it affects the number of months left on your loan.
